Oil prices fell and stock markets rose after President Donald Trump said the war with Iran would end and the Strait of Hormuz would be "open to all" if Tehran agreed to a deal with Washington.
Trump posted on social media that if Iran agrees to the terms of a potential agreement, "the already legendary Epic Fury will be at an end, and the highly effective Blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran."
The president also indicated that military action would resume if Iran did not accept the deal.
