Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight at WWE's Money in the Bank event Saturday night at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, ending Knight's bid to upset the dominant champion.
Knight arrived as the crowd favorite, having climbed through the ranks with momentum and charisma. The challenger executed several high-impact moves, including a jumping superplex and a powerbomb through the announce table that drew roaring reactions from the crowd. Multiple near-falls kept the audience believing in a potential upset.
Reigns remained methodical throughout, controlling the match's pace and psychology. When the moment came, Reigns connected with two Superman punches followed by a spear to secure the victory.
After the match, members of the 946 faction—Royce Keys, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima—emerged in the crowd. The Usos and Solo Sikoa quickly followed. Jaida Parker then arrived in an SUV to whisk away the 946 members.
Knight, despite the loss, demonstrated he belongs among wrestling's elite competitors.
