ONTO Health, a physician-led fertility and longevity care provider based in Chicago, has acquired LEVY Health, a clinical decision support software platform that specializes in precision diagnostics and patient intake workflows for reproductive medicine practices.
The acquisition, announced July 7, 2026, follows ONTO's $20 million Series A funding round and marks a strategic expansion across the United States and into Gulf Cooperation Council markets.
The move reflects consolidation in the fertility services sector, which market research firm Precedence Research valued at $42.23 billion globally in 2023. The market is projected to nearly double to $70.27 billion by 2030, driven by sustained demand for fertility treatments, shifting family planning timelines and increased access to assisted reproductive technologies in developing economies.
LEVY Health, founded and led by CEO Caroline Mitterdorfer, developed software tools designed to help reproductive medicine clinics identify endocrine disorders more quickly and streamline patient intake processes. By automating preliminary diagnostic work, the platform reduces administrative burden on clinical staff and accelerates patient workup timelines.
ONTO Health was founded by Dr. Roohi Jeelani, M.D., FACOG, a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist with board certifications in obstetrics and gynecology. The company positions fertility assessment and treatment as components of broader longevity and preventive health services.
Dr. Jeelani said LEVY Health's diagnostics capabilities would equip partner practices with tools to integrate fertility care into existing primary care and women's health workflows. Mitterdorfer characterized the acquisition as an opportunity to expand LEVY's reach beyond its current user base.
According to industry data, patients typically spend 12 to 18 months navigating preliminary workups, specialist referrals and administrative delays before beginning fertility treatments. The acquisition aims to compress this timeline by embedding clinical decision support tools directly into clinic workflows.
The acquisition also positions ONTO to scale beyond direct-to-consumer or direct-to-practice models. Rather than building fertility care capacity solely through owned clinics, ONTO can partner with independent reproductive medicine practices, primary care networks and women's health providers by licensing LEVY's software.
Expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council region reflects demographic and economic trends. The GCC countries—Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman—have experienced rising demand for fertility services driven by delayed childbearing, increased female workforce participation and growing medical tourism.
Venture capital interest in reproductive health technology has accelerated since 2020, with investors identifying fertility care as an underserved market segment with favorable unit economics and recurring revenue potential.
Fertility care accessibility reveals persistent disparities. Approximately 12 percent of reproductive-age women report infertility, yet treatment utilization remains concentrated among higher-income populations and those with comprehensive health insurance coverage. Out-of-pocket costs for fertility services average $12,000 to $15,000 per treatment cycle.
The acquisition terms were not disclosed. ONTO Health did not specify purchase price, equity restructuring or revenue figures for either company.
ONTO indicated that LEVY will function as the technological engine supporting the company's expansion, suggesting the software platform will remain a distinct product offering. This modular approach allows independent practices to adopt LEVY without necessarily adopting ONTO's broader care protocols.
