A New Jersey mother was charged with obstruction after police found her missing teenage son hiding in a crawl space in her basement, authorities said.
The East Brunswick Police Department responded to a report about the missing juvenile. When officers arrived at the home, the mother told them her son was not there. However, during their search, police discovered the teen concealed in a crawl space in the basement.
The mother was subsequently charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the incident.
