The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services warned Children's Medical Center of Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center that they cannot withhold treatment from a newborn based on his heart defect.
The warning came after concerns were raised that the hospitals planned to deny life-saving care to baby Gabriel because of his disability.
