A North Dakota woman has sued after police arrested her at gunpoint and she spent nearly six months in jail based on an uncorroborated artificial intelligence facial recognition match, according to court documents.
Angela Lipps was arrested in Fargo after officers relied on the AI technology to identify her as a suspect, authorities said.
