President Donald Trump announced Friday that he is barring CNN, MSNBC and Politico from the White House, citing what he called their "constant 'reporting' FAKE NEWS!"
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the ban would be "effective immediately." He threatened that other news outlets could face similar restrictions.
The move represents an unprecedented restriction of press access during Trump's second term as president.
