More than 1,500 nominations from 56 countries have advanced to the finalist stage of the 23rd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the international recognition program that honors female entrepreneurs, managers, employees and the organizations they lead. Winners will be announced November 16 at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis in New York.
The finalists were selected by a panel of more than 200 international professionals serving on seven expert juries. The competition considers entries across categories including Manager of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women and Women-Led Workplace of the Year, among others.
Nominations came from organizations across Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Eswatini, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and Zimbabwe.
Cherishers 811 CIC, a community interest company based in Rugeley, Staffordshire, received 23 finalist designations, more than any other organization. IBM earned 20 finalist nods, while Purpol Marketing Ltd in Chippenham, Wiltshire, advanced 16 entries to finalist status. The Dr Z Functional Medicine Academy LLC in Sheridan, Wyoming, received 14 finalist selections, and UnitedHealthcare Consumer Services in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, secured 12 finalist positions.
Other organizations with significant finalist recognition included the Jared Dunscombe Foundation in Mount Eliza, Victoria, with 9 finalist entries; Supernal World Creations in Naples, Florida, with 9 finalist selections; and 4 Voices in Queensland, Australia, with 8 finalist designations. Individual finalists included Adele M Anthony of Kearneys Spring, Australia, and Nikki Langman of Melbourne, Australia, each with 8 finalist selections.
Additional finalists included Blue Diamond Property Group in New South Wales, Australia; BELBIM in Istanbul, Turkey; BRYGE AI in New York; Dream Culture in Sydney, New South Wales; Empowered Living Care in Sydney; Epique Realty in Houston, Texas; National Talents Company in Khobar, Saudi Arabia; and The Audacious Agency in Maroochydore, Queensland, each with 7 or 8 finalist entries.
Organizers expect more than 400 winners, guests and judges from around the world to attend the live-streamed event, where gold, silver and bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced.
The Stevie Awards program has recognized business excellence globally since 2002. The name derives from the Greek word "stephanos," meaning "crowned." Across all nine Stevie Awards programs, the organization receives more than 12,000 nominations annually from organizations in more than 70 countries and territories.
