Shiseido is entering the competitive luxury skincare market with its Vital Perfection Intensive SculptDefine Serum, launching this month at major retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy's and online platforms.
The Japanese beauty company, with more than 150 years of heritage, partnered with Dr. Shoko Mori, a board-certified dermatologist practicing in New York, to provide clinical validation for the product's claims. Mori's endorsement highlights the serum's D-AminoLift Complex, designed to enhance visible firmness and skin resilience.
A one-week study involving 33 women showed that 100% of participants demonstrated visible improvement in sagging cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and neck creases, along with gains in luminosity and elasticity.
The serum targets the jawline, addresses discoloration and smooths uneven tone. It positions itself as a skincare intervention grounded in physiological understanding rather than a cosmetic quick-fix.
Vital Perfection is already Shiseido's top-performing product line globally. The expansion strategy suggests the brand believes there remains demand for premium solutions targeting specific aging concerns.
The serum will be available through Shiseido.com, Macy's, Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Dillard's, Amazon and select boutiques.
