Boston Women Leaders Adds Coach Focused on Sustainable High Performance

The Women Leaders Association has appointed Lisa Reilly as a Coaching Partner for its Boston chapter, expanding the vetted coaching roster to three professionals. Reilly brings 23 years of biotech and pharmaceutical leadership experience and specializes in helping high-achieving women build sustainable careers without burnout.

The Coaching Partners program addresses a concrete problem: professional women often struggle to find qualified coaches. Coaching credentials remain largely unregulated, quality varies dramatically, and individual leaders lack reliable ways to verify a coach's track record. The Women Leaders Association created the program to screen coaches on members' behalf by vetting certifications, experience and client feedback.

Reilly's practice centers on what she calls the "Reclamation Method," a framework for accomplished women who feel a disconnect between external success and internal fulfillment. She works with clients on executive leadership development, burnout prevention, work-life integration and identity reclamation.

Over two decades in biotech and pharmaceuticals, Reilly held increasingly senior roles at companies including Novo Nordisk, Alexion, argenx and most recently Horizon, now part of Amgen. At Alexion, she transformed an underperforming territory from last place nationally to top-25 status within a year, then to #1 regionally. She was recognized as a Woman of Novo Nordisk and selected for Horizon's 2024 Leadership Development Program.

"I coach the woman who looks like she has it all together but feels like she's running on empty," Reilly said. "After 23 years building what looked like a successful biotech career from the outside, I know how easy it is to stop showing up for yourself while you're showing up for everyone else."

Reilly joins Susan Shepherd and Danielle Snow on Boston's Coaching Partners roster. Members can access profiles, book free 30-minute clarity calls and connect with coaches through the chapter's website.

The Boston appointment is part of a broader rollout. The Women Leaders Association is extending its Coaching Partners program nationally across more than 130 regional chapters. The program complements the association's existing work on systemic transparency, including its Glass Ceiling Score project, which evaluates major U.S. employers on how fairly they promote women into management and executive roles.
