The Home Depot amplĂa su servicio de entrega para familiares de militares en el extranjero

The Home Depot is expanding its reach to military families stationed overseas, rolling out a new delivery program that makes over 20,000 home improvement products available tax-free to service members and their dependents across more than 750 bases in 80+ countries.

Starting July 8, 2026, eligible customers can order through the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and Navy Exchange platforms and receive shipments directly to Army Post Office, Fleet Post Office and Diplomatic Post Office addresses.

The program marks a significant expansion of the retailer's longstanding partnership with military exchanges, extending convenience to communities that have historically faced challenges in accessing home goods abroad.

"The Home Depot has supported military members, veterans, and their families for decades," said Jordan Broggi, executive vice president of Customer Experience and head of The Home Depot's online division. "Expanding deliveries to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses ensures that military communities serving around the world have convenient access to the home improvement products they need, wherever they're stationed."

The program is open to active duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, military retirees, honorably discharged veterans and authorized civilians with exchange privileges. U.S.-based shoppers can also purchase items and ship them to friends or family stationed abroad using the same addresses.

Delivery happens through the U.S. Postal Service, adhering to military mail and security protocols that govern overseas shipments. The 20,000-product catalog spans traditional home improvement categories including tools, lumber, paint, appliances and seasonal items.

The expansion addresses unique challenges faced by military families stationed overseas for years at a time, who contend with limited local shopping options, currency fluctuations and shipping complexity. Home Depot's tax-free offering provides access to familiar U.S. product lines without the markup or wait times that international forwarding services typically impose.
