Yale School of Medicine has received a $10 million donation from Bukhman Philanthropies to support child and adolescent mental health and emotional well-being.
The gift will fund two programs at Yale's Child Study Center: the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and the Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program.
The funds will support the development of evidence-based interventions and tools to strengthen mental health and emotional well-being in children and adolescents. The programs are led by Dr. Marc Brackett, founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and Dr. Wendy Silverman, who directs the Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program.
Bukhman Philanthropies was founded by Daria and Dmitri Bukhman and is headquartered in London.
